Florence is the largest city and county seat of Lauderdale County, with a population of around 40,000 residents. Located along the Tennessee River, Florence is an important industrial hub and port city. Key landmarks include the University of North Alabama and the Rosenbaum House designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

Rogersville

Rogersville is a small town located east of Florence with around 1,200 residents. It was established in the 1820s and has an historic downtown centered around Lauderdale County Courthouse. The TVA Joe Wheeler State Park draws many outdoor recreational tourists to the area.

Killen
