Lebanon is a city in Linn County, Oregon, United States. Lebanon is located in northwest Oregon, southeast of Salem. The population was 18,447 at the 2020 census.
Lebanon is named after the Biblical cedars of Lebanon that once grew in abundance throughout the area. The name Lebanon was selected by John Bolsinger, who homesteaded the area in 1878, after he visited Mount Lebanon in Syria and noted similarities between the two areas.
