History
Gresham was established in the 1880s along the Mount Hood Railroad line and grew as an early agricultural community. It was officially incorporated as a city in 1905 and continued to develop as a Portland suburb throughout the 20th century.

Popular Gresham destinations include the Gresham History Museum, Mt. Hood Jazz Festival, Outdoor Quilt Show, and the Metro Arts Live Theater. There are also several community parks, golf courses, and natural areas offering recreation.
