Culpeper

Culpeper is the only incorporated town and county seat of Culpeper County. It was established in 1759 and named for Lady Catherine Culpeper. Downtown Culpeper has old buildings like the 1903 train depot and landmarks such as the Culpeper Minutemen Museum.

Brandy Station

Brandy Station is an unincorporated community near the Rapidan River where the Civil War Battle of Brandy Station was fought. Historic sites include Graffiti House, Cedar Mountain Battlefield, and the Brandy Station Foundation museum.

Stevensburg
