Lincoln City is a city in Placer County, California, United States, part of the Sacramento metropolitan area. Located in an area of rapid suburban development, it grew 282.1 percent between 2000 and 2010, making it the fastest-growing city over 10,000 people in the U.S. Its 2019 population was estimated to be 48,275. 

The city is located on a large parcel of land consisting mostly of agricultural grassland and livestock grazing leases. The community has been experiencing rapid growth since its incorporation in 2005 due to its proximity to the Sacramento metropolitan area, as well as its affordability compared to neighboring communities such as Roseville and Rocklin. The city currently has about 4,000 residents but is expected to grow significantly in coming years as new neighborhoods are developed around existing subdivisions and shopping centers.

Lincoln is located at 38°27′15″N 121°48′11″W (38.455682, -121.804919). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 61 km² (23 sq mi), all land.
