Lawton: The most populous city in Comanche County, Oklahoma. It is located on the North Fork of the Red River in southwestern Oklahoma. Lawton is a city located in the county of Comanche in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. Its population at the 2010 census was 96,867 and a population density of 462 people per km². After 10 years in 2020 city had an estimated population of 93,164 inhabitants.

The city was created 123 years ago in 1900.

This active Army base offers tours of its 19th century buildings on the National Register of Historic Places. The Fort Sill Museum documents military history in the area.

The Holy City of the Wichitas

Located at the base of Mount Scott, this attraction features larger-than-life biblical scenes depicted with concrete and stone sculptures.
