History
Westminster was originally established as a farming community in the late 1800s called Harris Park. Growth accelerated after WWII as Denver expanded its suburban ring.
The city was officially incorporated in 1911 and later became home to some of Colorado's major companies like Ball Corporation. Continued population and economic expansion has made Westminster part of metro Denver.
