Centerville is a city located in the county of Montgomery in the U.S. state of Ohio.

Centerville is a city in Montgomery County, Ohio, United States. A core suburb of Metro Dayton, its population was 24,240 as of the 2020 census. 

Centerville is within the Miami Valley region of Ohio and is located about 25 miles (40 km) north of Dayton. Centerville is bounded by the cities of Kettering to the south and west; Beavercreek to the north; Oakwood and Troy to the east; and West Carrollton to the southeast. The city has an area of 28.57 square miles (73 km²), all land.

The city's public school system includes Centerville High School, Centerville Junior High School, and three elementary schools: Beckett Creek Elementary School, Burnham Brook Elementary School, and Sharon Woods Elementary School. In addition there are two private schools: St. John's Catholic Grade School - Kindergarten through 8th grade and St. John's Catholic High School - 9th through 12th grade.

Centerville offers many opportunities for recreation and entertainment. The city has several parks, including a community center with an indoor pool and fitness center, tennis courts and basketball courts. In addition to these parks, Centerville also has several community events throughout the year including concerts held at John Bryan State Park every summer.

The city also has three golf courses: Meadowbrook Country Club; Meadowbrook Golf Course; and Poplar Run Golf Course.
