Bellevue is a city located in the county of Huron in the U.S. state of Ohio. Its population at the 2010 census was 4,527. After 10 years in 2020 city had an estimated population of 4,370 inhabitants.

Bellevue is a city in Erie, Huron, Seneca, and Sandusky counties in the U.S. state of Ohio, located 61 miles southwest of Cleveland and 45 miles southeast of Toledo. The population was 8,202 at the 2010 census. The National Arbor Day Foundation has designated Bellevue as a Tree City USA.

The city has a total area of 15.9 km² (6 sq mi). Of that area 0.11% is water (0.03 km²), making it the city with one of the lowest water densities in Ohio. Bellevue is situated on a bluff above the Black River and its tributary streams, which flow southward into Lake Erie and eastward into Sandusky Bay at Bellevue State Park.

The city has two distinct areas: "Old Bellevue" in the north and "New Bellevue" in the south. Old Bellevue has retained much of its turn-of-the-century suburban character while New Bellevue has grown into an urban suburb since being annexed by the city in 1950; however, there are still many older single-family homes throughout both sections of town.

The population is 8,202 people, with a median age of 25.2 years old. Our city has a diverse population: 33% White; 37% Black or African American; 7% Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander; 5% Asian; 4% Two or More Races; 2% Some Other Race; 1% American Indian or Alaska Native; 2% Hispanic or Latino (of any race).
