Corning

Corning is the largest city in Steuben County with around 11,000 residents. It is best known as the home of Corning Incorporated and the Corning Museum of Glass. The vibrant downtown and Market Street areas are filled with shops, restaurants and the Rockwell Museum.

Hornell

Hornell is the second largest city in Steuben County, with around 8,500 residents. It is located along the Canisteo River and was incorporated in 1888. Hornell grew as a railroad hub and industrial center known for glass manufacturing and breweries.

Bath

Bath is the county seat and is centrally located along the Cohocton River. Around 5,600 people live in this small city. Bath has a quaint downtown district lined with historic buildings and churches. The area was developed for its fertile farmland and medicinal spring waters.

Hammondsport

Hammondsport sits on the south end of Keuka Lake and has around 700 residents. It is one of the principal Finger Lakes wine regions, with over a dozen wineries nearby. The Glenn H. Curtiss Museum pays homage to Hammondsport's aviation history.

Painted Post
